Vintage Tobacco Cards

A little background… My journey into the world of vintage cigarette cards began nearly a decade ago at a flea market. I fell in love with their detail on such a tiny scale, and was enamored by these intricate works of art.

From the late 1800s through the 1940s, tobacco companies frequently included collectible cards in their cigarette packs. These cards served both to strengthen the flimsy packaging while also advertising the cigarette brands. The card sets portrayed popular culture from the era, featuring actresses, sports figures, wildlife, and nature themes. Each set of cards typically consisted of 25 to 50 related subjects.

I look forward to framing up many of these wonderful, historical pieces for you to enjoy as much as I do.
